Will Paid Surveys Pay Your Bills?

Many people are looking for an alternative way to make money due to the Economic downturn. Those who are now jobless and those stay at home mums are turning to the Internet for a solution. Many have come across surveys but more recently paid surveys are becoming popular but the million dollar question is, is it really possible to make money from surveys?

To our dismay, when people want to earn that quick dollar, they have in turn found that some of these paid surveys have been ripping them off. As a result, more websites are now guaranteeing that they will give you money for the surveys that you complete. In fact, if you Google "paid surveys" you will get almost 20 million results!

However is this another smart scam or can you really make money for surveys that you complete? To be honest I have tried and tested these paid surveys. After a couple of days of being accepted as a legitimate participant an email arrived just days later inviting me to participate in a survey. Now was the chance for me to really earn some money!

I went to the web site and up came details of the survey to be completed: they will pay me 22 cents for 15 minutes of work! I was gobsmacked that is less than $1 an hour! As the days went by I started receiving an average of 2-3 surveys per day. Looking back, the most any survey paid was $4. After doing some calculations I realised that this was not going to pay my bills let alone pay for a much needed holiday.

To my astonishment they even put me in monthly draws, which I knew that I will never win. This definitely isn't what I was promised of about $50 to $500. This made me lose all hope of making a living through paid surveys.

So is it worth it? Hell no! There are much better ways where I can spend my valuable time and money to earn a better income from the Internet. So the best thing to do is not lose your sleep over paid surveys, but search for much promising ways to make money online. Remember to work smarter and not harder!
