The other day I was meeting with an old friend of mine over lunch when the topic of paid surveys came up. We were talking about our various ventures online and he confided in me that he was making a pretty decent sum of money each month filling out surveys that were sent to him via email from a particular company who needed this very service.
Well, as you can imagine, this was very interesting to me, and I definitely wanted to find out more for myself. While I was dying to ask him every question in the book so that I wouldn't have to do as much research, I wasn't able to because we only had a limited time available for lunch.
I decided I was going to have "go it" alone, but I did take away a decent tidbit of info... he told me to be careful of the company that I choose to do business with for the paid surveys. I didn't understand at first, but he explained to me that he got burned a few times from companies that sent him surveys, but didn't pay him after he took the time to fill them out. Not Cool!
Anyway, my friend explained to me that the best way to get hooked up with a company who pays for surveys is to sign up with a company like Paid Surveys, Etc who does all the "legwork" for you... they go through and filter out all the companies who don't pay, so you know that whatever company you sign up with through them will pay... and pay good!
Well, later on in the week when I had some free time, I looked into the whole survey "enchilada" and got signed up right away. In a jiffy I was able to peruse through all the various companies who offered to pay for me to fill out various surveys and questionnaires.
I signed up with a few companies and it wasn't too long until I got several of them via email. I took about 20 minutes to fill out each one, and the ones I've gotten so far paid anywhere from about $20 to as much as $75 per survey! I could see now how my friend was doing so well at this... after all, $75 for 20 minutes worth of work is not half bad!
You know I was always skeptical about doing these surveys, and had heard so much about them everywhere, but I am glad I gave it a shot... now I have a steady $500+ coming in extra each month depending on how many of these I wanted to do.
