As the economy has taken a turn for the worse, millions of people are laid off, or their place of employment completely shut down.
More and more people are looking for other means of earning enough to replace their lost income, or at least earn enough to feed their family. Many of these people are turning to the internet to try to find some magic pill that will get them through the rough times.
Enter the "get paid for surveys" rage.
Can you really get paid for surveys? The answer to that question is a big resounding "yes". But...here is where you really have to be careful before you jump right in with both feet.
I have been involved with surveys for quite some time, and learned some very disappointing lessons along the way. Not all surveys that pay sites are created equal. In fact, a lot of them are total ripoffs. In other words, they ask for some kind of a fee to get access to their site and then you find out that the companies they have listed only pay pennies or want you to take free trials that "cost" you money. There are a lot of these out there doing business today and you will probably not make enough money to cover your access fee.
Don't give up just yet! There are plenty of companies out there that will pay you to take surveys, or participate in forums,give your opinion etc., and they do pay very well for these services. I have made hundreds of dollars doing exactly that.
Before you sign up with any paid survey site, use the best research tool available, which is Google search of course. Do as much research as it takes to find the paid survey site that you trust. You might do a search of "paid survey sites complaints" or something of that nature to guide you in the right direction.
The bottom line is, if you check the market out thoroughly you will be earning an income by getting paid for surveys in no time. About the Author
