"Get Paid to Take Survey" Websites - A Legitimate Income Stream

Of all the online money-making opportunities you see advertised on the web, the ones that offer "get paid to take survey" opportunities are often some of the best. Companies invest a lot of money in market research to find out what consumers like you think about their products and services. This helps them fine tune products they already have and figure out what direction they should take when developing new products. Online surveys have really taken off as a market research avenue for these companies because they are cheap to produce and execute (much, much cheaper than in-person focus groups or telephone survey initiatives) and because they are so cost effective to execute for these companies, many of them are willing to pay incentives to their respondents for their time and effort in completing the survey.

Most of the companies conduct their surveys through "get paid to take survey" websites, where a website acts as a hub for market research surveys of all different kinds from a multitude of companies and then the "get paid to take survey" website is responsible for recruiting survey-takers and for qualifying them. Depending on the type and length of the survey, a survey-taker can make anywhere from a dollar or two to twenty or thirty dollars for each survey they take through a "get paid to take survey" offer.

While there is definitely the opportunity to make supplemental income from taking surveys online, a lot of these sites suggest that you can make a full-time income just from answering surveys online. This is somewhat misleading. Many of these "get paid to take survey" sites that claim you can make several thousand dollars a month are actually trying to sell you lists of other survey websites where you can go and register to be on the list for even more surveys. Speaking as an experienced online survey-taker, the vast majority of "get paid to take survey" opportunities don't pay you up front, but rather enter you in draws and sweepstakes to win more substantial cash prizes.

However, that being said, "get paid to take survey" websites are definitely worth checking out if you want to make some extra money online.
