There's a lot of talk about paid surveys, and how you can get paid for your opinion. But what are paid surveys all about, is it possible to make an income from this sort of work, and if so, how?
Well let's start with the basics - what are paid surveys? Essentially paid surveys are surveys taken online (on a website), where you as the average consumer are asked numerous questions about a certain topic, product or brand. The purpose of these surveys is market research for the manufacturers or service providers. By getting your honest opinion on various elements, they can develop and improve upon their product or service. Every year, huge corporations spend millions of dollars on market research. The better they can get "inside your head" as a consumer, the better they can develop products or services that fulfil your needs. This obviously means more profits for them in the end.
Of course the next question is the economic viability of taking surveys as a full-time activity. Is it possible to generate additional income or a full time income from taking online surveys?
