If you surf the web on a regular basis, there is most likely a chance that you have come across paid surveys. There are many legitimate survey sites out there where you can make good money, but it sometimes seems hard with all of the scams.
Surveys are a great way to earn some side money and to be honest this is where I first started making money online. At my height I was making around $1000 a month taking surveys and sitting on panels. First off you want to avoid most listings on Craigslist since most of the ones I have found end up being scams in the end. Where you want to focus your search is simply on Google. Start off by typing in "Paid Surveys" and you will see a ton of results returned.
I would recommend looking at the first couple and seeing what they have to offer and also what the guidelines are as well. Most survey sites are looking for certain types of people, whether that be gender, age, or religion. They are looking for target audiences that their clients who are running the surveys are targeting. Finding a legit survey site isn't nearly as hard as it may seem. First you want to find a site that has a lot of surveys. This step is easy, since you can generally sign up for free on most survey sites and begin looking through their surveys. If you only see one or two, then you should look for a different site that has more. What I did when I started out was I signed up for 3-4 different sites and tested them out for a week to see how many surveys they sent me. Any of the ones that sent me less than one a day, I would close my account and look for a different one.
To make a lot of money doing surveys you need a constant flow of surveys coming in and even better is a constant supply of discussion panels (these can pay over $100/panel). Eventually I found about 9-10 survey sites that consistently found me surveys and discussion panels. If you can find more than that just means more surveys which in turn means more money in your pocket.
